Our Story
Gray Warden was founded by a Supply Chain executive from a major U.S. Defense Contractor who spent years working with DIB suppliers on compliance requirements.
The same conversations kept happening: suppliers struggling to understand what CMMC actually required, overwhelmed by complex enterprise tools designed for Fortune 500 companies, or shocked by price tags that made compliance seem impossible for their budgets.
The existing solutions fell into two camps: enterprise platforms with six-figure price tags and steep learning curves, or basic spreadsheets that provided no real guidance. Neither worked for the small and mid-sized manufacturers, machine shops, and service providers that make up the backbone of the Defense Industrial Base.
